You've finished your project, woven in the last end – and now comes the final touch:

Often it's those little extras that take your project from "nice" to "special."

1. Buttons with personality: Wood, shell, metal, enamel, handmade or vintage – buttons aren't just practical. They add contrast, texture or style. My tip: test your button directly on the knit before choosing.

2. Labels & tags: A small leather tab saying "handmade," a stitched label or a crocheted heart – small things, big effect!

3. Closures with flair: Toggle buttons, ties, ribbons or loops give your knitwear an individual look. Great for cardigans or bags.

4. Edges & finishings: A crocheted border, I-cord edge or little colorwork row can give your project a polished, loving finish.
